One special piece in the collection is designed by Courtney Capazzi who is the 2017 winner of the "Fashion Without Limits" design program created by Emme and implemented at Syracuse University. The program is the first of its kind and is something that Emme is truly passionate about. It allows fashion design students the ability to learn how to design specifically for the plus size shape which incredibly enough is not a typical part of studies in most design curriculums with the exception of Syracuse University. Knowing that the average size of American women these days is around a 14 to 16, it's hard to believe that most design programs still have students learning how to drape, pattern-make, and design based only on size 6 dress forms.
This gorgeous dress was chosen as the perfect look, fit, and design by Emme and with the backing of Ashley Stewart, Capazzi's design went from school project to now being available to every gorgeous curvy girl!
